The Lakeside Crom Castle |
|
Fermanagh the land of lakes. There's water everywhere in this most
attractive of counties. The county is dominated by Lough Erne 50
miles long and an anglers paradise. Enniskillen is the largest town.
But this is an area of mystery, of remote corners where visitors are
seldom seen. On either side of the lough, hills rear up the west,
several smaller peaks to the east.
It is also a place of antiquities. Some you can seek out as they
form part of the landscape, others are tourist attractions.
But wherever you go in County Fermanagh, its beauty and charm
grab you and simply wont let go. |
